Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement
Our Commitment
Kelda is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all areas of our business and supply chains. While we are not legally required to publish a statement under the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we recognise the importance of transparency and ethical business practices and have chosen to do so voluntarily.
Our Business
Kelda designs and supplies innovative, water-efficient showering solutions for domestic, commercial and infrastructure environments. We operate primarily within the UK and work with a range of suppliers, manufacturers and service providers to support our operations.
Our Approach to Modern Slavery
We are committed to conducting business responsibly and with integrity. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking and expect the same high standards from our suppliers, partners and contractors.
Supply Chain Due Diligence
We take reasonable and proportionate steps to assess and manage the risk of modern slavery within our supply chain. These steps include:
-
Working with reputable suppliers and partners
-
Expecting suppliers to comply with all applicable employment and labour laws
-
Considering ethical and social responsibility as part of supplier selection where appropriate
Risk Assessment
Based on the nature of our operations and supply chains, we consider the risk of modern slavery within our business to be low. However, we remain vigilant and committed to identifying and addressing any potential risks should they arise.
Policies and Expectations
We expect all suppliers and partners to:
-
Treat workers fairly and with respect
-
Provide safe working conditions
-
Comply with all relevant laws relating to employment, wages and working hours
-
Prohibit forced, bonded or child labour
Training and Awareness
We aim to ensure that those responsible for procurement and supplier relationships are aware of the risks of modern slavery and understand how to identify and report concerns.
Ongoing Commitment
Kelda is committed to continually reviewing and improving our practices to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking do not occur within our business or supply chains.
